It’s been another fabulous year for these four women, singing together and sharing their love for harmony and everything WINE-related with audiences throughout Northern California.  A year of singing, eating, drinking wine and coaching – what more could a quartet want?!?

d’Vine is named for their mutual admiration of and relationship with wine and was formed in the fall of 2006.  Having a good nose for barbershop music and plenty of body paid off for the contest stage together.   For the third year in a row, d’Vine is privileged to have placed second in the Sweet Adeline International Regional Competition for Northern California, this year with a score of 601, an increase of over 30 points over last year.  This performance earned them a Wild Card slot to the 2009 International Competition in Nashville, Tennesse the week of October 19th.  Only 10 quartets throughout the world are eligible for the Wild Card slots.  Needless to say they are excited.
 
Wendy, the bass is an Attorney in Marin and is married to Marty.  She has three grandkids and ...of course... Jake & Maddie her labs. 

Melany, the lead, lives in Santa Rosa and works in Sales for Vitro Packaging, a wine bottle manufacturer.  She also has one grand-child and one more on the way. 

Sandy, the tenor lives in Roseville and works at Mercy General Hospital in Sacramento as a Neurodiagnostic Tech and Manager of the Epilepsy Program.  She is married to George with 2 daughters, Kelly, age 25 and Chrissy, age 19. 

Kerry, the baritone, lives in Roseville and works as a Information Technology Management Consultant.  She is married to Mike and has a daughter Olivia, age 9. 

In their spare time when not singing – Wendy is an avid Yacht Club member, Melany cooks and gardens, Sandy goes to concerts with her husband and Kerry is a Canine Companions for Independence Puppy Raiser.  Wendy, Melany and Kerry are all members of the Pacific Empire Chorus in Petaluma.  Sandy is a member of Sacramento Valley Chorus.
